To be explicit, because it matters:

4. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information described above only to:

4.1. Create and maintain your account, sign you in, and let you reset your password.

4.2. Show you the catalogue and let you play published music.

4.3. Let you apply to become an artist, submit music, and have it reviewed before publication.

4.4. Keep evidence of the rights you declared over the music you upload, so that copyright claims can be handled properly.

4.5. Operate live events and their chat, where you choose to take part.

4.6. Moderate content, enforce our terms, and keep a record of moderation decisions.

4.7. Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.

4.8. Meet our legal obligations and respond to copyright complaints.

We do not use your information for advertising or profiling.

5. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

5.1. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

5.2. Service providers. K MUSIC runs on infrastructure operated by third parties who process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

account, your profile, your uploaded audio, and the records described in Section 3 are stored there.

messages. It processes your email address for that purpose.

5.3. Other users. Some information is visible to others by design:

which appears next to your published music.

other participants in that event.

⚠️ Your email address is not shown to other users.

5.4. Legal reasons. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to respond to a copyright complaint, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

6. WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS HELD

6.1. K MUSIC is operated from the United States, and our infrastructure providers store data on servers located in the United States.

6.2. If you use K MUSIC from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

7.1. We keep your account information for as long as your account exists.

7.2. Some records are kept even after an account ends, because deleting them would destroy evidence that we or others may legitimately need:

song. These are retained because they are the evidence that supports how a copyright claim is resolved.

7.3. Where records are kept after an account ends, we keep only what is necessary for the purpose that justifies keeping them.

7.4. We do not keep these records indefinitely as a matter of course. Each category described in Section 7.2 is kept only while the purpose that justifies keeping it still applies — the duration of a legal obligation, the life of a dispute or a copyright claim, or the period during which the record may still be needed for security or audit purposes — and is deleted once that purpose has ended.

8. YOUR CHOICES

8.1. Access and correction. You can see the email address associated with your account in the app. To ask about the information we hold about you, contact us at support@kmusicdigital.com.

8.2. Changing your password. You can reset your password from the sign-in screen using "Forgot your password?".

8.5. Withdrawing content. If you are an artist, you can ask us to remove music you have published. Section 7.2 still applies to the rights declarations attached to it.

9. SECURITY

9.1. Your password is never stored in readable form by K MUSIC. Authentication is handled by our provider, which stores passwords hashed.

9.2. Audio files are stored in private storage. They are not publicly accessible by URL. Playback is served through short-lived signed links, and music that has not been approved cannot be played by other users.

9.3. Access to data is controlled at the database level, so users can only reach the records they are entitled to.

9.4. No service can promise perfect security, and we do not.
